You can succeed beyond what you even imagine!
BEST VALUE! This package allows you to book 12 sessions as often as you want them. Most who invest in these sessions begin coaching with one or more pressing issues they want to address. So most people schedule weekly to move forward as quickly as possible. As they learn new strategies and techniques to resolve stress, handle challenges, and achieve their goals, they gain momentum and may schedule sessions twice a month. With confidence and a sense of empowerment, they then tend to opt to meet once a month.
This is an important investment in you. You will be amazed at the changes you can make when you focus on what's important in your life!
If you just want to see what Life Coaching is all about, this option let's you try it. We can meet in-person at my Littleton office or via Zoom, whatever you're most comfortable with. We'll start with a free 30-minute phone consultation and progress from there. Why not try it? You may discover that it's just what you need!
This is time you dedicate to caring for yourself. You'll have the opportunity to reflect on challenges you find particularly painful. You'll begin to recognize your unique language patterns, become aware of the physical manifestations you're dealing with, and realize where you are focusing your attention when you're experiencing an issue that is troubling. You will use all of this awareness to communicate to your subconscious using language that is meaningful to you. The result of EFT Tapping is that you change responses from stress, anxiety, depression, and other unhelpful patterns to more beneficial responses.
This is a self-administered, easy-to-learn technique that even very young students can use. Many schools are introducing Tapping to help their students reduce the anxiety of academic and social pressures.
EFT Tapping is very effective and can be done at any time. This session will be transformative for you.
Once you've learned the basics of EFT Tapping, you can use it to rewire your central nervous system to eradicate unproductive behavior and emotions. These sessions give you the language and the guidance to tap on your own. You will uncover patterns of self-talk that you can change, physical responses that may have hindered you for years that can be short circuited so that you respond in ways that help you move forward with more confidence and self-control.
Even very young students can use EFT Tapping to self-regulate and reduce the anxiety of academic and social pressures.

Back to School: Students Facing More Stress By Life Coach Julia Bate In August 2022, the American Psychological Association held a conference called “The Kids Are Not Alright: The Decline in Mental Health Among Youth.” After long stretches of virtual learning, transitions to in-person learning have been a welcomed relief for some and a psychological and mental strain for others. Within families, one student may find the prospect of returning to the academic and social environment of school exciting while another may intensely dread it. To compound matters, there’s a growing trend of students suffering panic attacks and severe depression, which had led to refusal to attend classes. Though not a diagnosis, the behavior is being referred to “school avoidance.” Alarms are sounding on all fronts. Psychologists, parents, educators, local and state mental health agencies, and the Department of Education are devising plans to address the needs of our most precious resource—our children. Obstacles to Overcome Though schools are key to impacting the lives of children, roughly only half of U.S. public schools offer mental health assessments and even fewer offer treatment, according to a 2022 Pew Research Center survey. Surgeon General Vice Admiral Vivek Murthy spoke about the prevalent and “long-lasting effects” of the interruption of in-person learning. “The consequences are not yet fully understood,” he said. “Even before the pandemic, we didn’t have enough mental health providers.” Jonathan Dalton, a psychologist who treats those dealing with school avoidance issues, said “Our waiting list is like 180 families…. The mental health infrastructure was never designed for this level of need.” Leigh Spence, a Missouri school counselor of 23 years, believes that, in addition to more ethnically diverse mental health counselors, there’s also a need “to do mental health first aid training for coaches, after-school care providers, barbers, and pastors to ensure they know the warning signs and what to do to support kids.” She pointed out that these individuals are often the most common confidantes of students. Despite the obstacles, Psychologist Kimberly Hoagwood, PhD, a professor of child psychiatry at New York University’s Grossman School of Medicine, is hopeful. “I see these trends in children’s mental health problems as being critical, but there are solutions. If we refocus our efforts toward solutions, we could see some of these tides turn.” Institutional Solutions In July 2022, the Biden administration outlined plans to commit $240 million for programs that “increase awareness and access to mental health supports for school-aged youth.” Another $140 million in grants is being offered to districts to increase the number of mental health providers delivering “school-based services to students in local educational agencies” to “increase the number of psychologists, counselors, and other professionals serving students.” In the end, schools are primarily responsible for education, said Spence, who serves as chair of the Children’s Services Board in Boone County, Missouri. She believes, “We must have guardian support for follow through. And, honestly, many adults are struggling, too.” Outside-the-Box Solutions Given the complexity of the challenges, there are proven approaches to diminish stress, absenteeism, and aggression and increase self-confidence, motivation, focus, and self-regulation. One method, used for centuries in Japanese schools, involves daily calisthenics, Radio Taiso. Practiced every morning before class and mid-day, these group exercises stimulate blood flow to the brain, strengthen and relax muscles, and incorporate rhythm—known to improve learning skills in children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Another effective approach is Zero Hour P.E. First developed as an experiment conducted at a private high school in Naperville, Illinois, Zero Hour P.E. involves exercising on treadmills and other aerobic equipment before school. The study revealed that increasing heart rates prior to learning boosts academic achievement, focus, self-esteem, fitness, and “happy hormones.” Clinical associate professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School Dr. John J. Ratey developed the strategy and wrote about it in his book SPARK: The Revolutionary New Science of Exercise and the Brain. One approach that combines both physical and cognitive elements is Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) Tapping. A quick and easily self-administered method, Tapping goes beyond reducing stress and improving performance. Tapping on acupressure points on the hand, head, and torso stimulates a person’s neurobiology to enable the mind and body to develop new, more beneficial patterns of response to stressful situations. This self-care practice is earning accolades among all ages of students around the world. Recent research demonstrates that it may be more effective than cognitive behavioral therapy and other “gold standard” modalities. In the last 20 years, Tapping has been subjected to rigorous clinical trials revealing startling effectiveness. In 2019, EFT Tapping was designated an “evidence-based” practice for anxiety, depression, phobias, and posttraumatic stress disorder, according to the Journal of Evidence-Based Integrated Medicine.
